Shama-Mashabih leads CoUJA

The 11th executive council election of the Comilla University Journalists’ Association (CoUJA), an organization of journalists working at Comilla University, has been held.
Abu Shama, a representative of Daily Kalbela, has been elected as the president, and Chowdhury Masabih, a representative of Daily Sangbad, has been elected as the general secretary.
The other members of the newly elected committee are— Vice President Mohammad Rajib (Daily Bangla), Joint General Secretary Tanvir Salam Arnab (Daily Inqilab), Finance Editor Mohammad Jobair Hossain (Daily Janakantha), Office Editor Anisur Rahman (Daily Samakal), Information and Library Editor Hedayetul Islam Nabid (Daily Sun), and executive members Abdullah Al Mamun (Daily Amar Desh) and Akash Al Mamun (The Daily Campus).
On Thursday (November 27), at 4:30 pm, the Chief Election Commissioner, Professor Dr. Moqaddes-ul-Islam, announced the results after the election at the university’s proctor’s office.
Present at the time were Proctor Professor Dr. Abdul Hakim, two other election commissioners, Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics Dr. Mohammad Joni Alam, and Lecturer of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism Mashiur Rahman.
this new committee will serve for the next one year.
